About Me
Sebastian Bechinger
BA Hons
Systemic Coach
Dyslexia and Learning Support Coach
I grew up in London, was born in Bangor, Wales, in 1989 and have lived in Vienna since 2018. I was diagnosed with dyslexia at school in 2000 and benefited from the UK's statutory dyslexia support until I graduated from university.
Feeling that there was a missing link in my sensory and movement integration, I trained in an approach to somatic education developed by occupational therapist Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, studying movement analysis and movement development in relation to physical movement and psychological integration.
Following this, I started working with individual clients in 2014 and have been developing my coaching skills ever since.
After moving to Vienna, I saw a massive gap — no one I could find was explicitly supporting neurodivergent people, or if they were, were taking a very deficit-based view! I decided to do two coaching trainings, one focused on children and one on adults. I co-founded 'Plexus', which combines artistic production and education with neuroscience research.
I've been exploring my neurodivergence and strategies for navigating its challenges and strengths.
I'm the proud father of an amazing daughter, born in 2015.
